What can i do about solving the problem of having trouble filling up my gas tank on a Ford Econoline van? Every time I try to fill up, the gas hose nozzle always shuts its self off. It takes forever to even put in $20 worth of gas because of the stopping and starting. I can only fill by letting gas trickle in slowly. Help!

You have a problem with the gas tank vent. Something in the EVAP system is not allowing the fumes to vent properly which causes the pump nozzle to shut off.

Checkout the fuel tank vent tube, it's either blocked or kinked
