2000 E-250 ran out of gas won't start now put 6 gallons gas used either
and also gum out carb cleaner(does fire,will not stay running),new battery
new fuel pump relay,in line fuel filter(not installed yet), Before I put the fuel
filter in I placed a pan to recover fuel if necessary.Tried starting.no fuel
found in recovery pan,also banged on the fuel tank to see if float was stuck
no change. What do I do now?Thanks for your time,Rich.

Can you hear the fuel pump running? You may have burned out the fuel pump when you ran the tank dry. In any case, go ahead and change the fuel filter.

your probably correct I can't here the pump.I know what your talking about,not the first Ford van. second opinion worth the time. Thanks again for your time, Rich.

So one year later the van is still not fixed? I guess it was not urgent.
