Fuel System

Asked by Egas62 Oct 26, 2017 at 01:56 PM about the 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT Crew Cab

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When it sets overnight or 5 plus hours at work, it appears fuel is draining out
of the line back into the tank.  If I turn the ignition to run multiple times and
hold for a seconds, it primes the line and starts immediately.  If I don't prime
the line, I'll crack 30 plus seconds trying to get fuel.  As long as I don't let the
set over 5 hours this problem does not exist, it'll start when bumped.
Dealership is not able to find a cause.
