Both the tail lights and instrument panel lights are out on my 2000 f-250, i replaced headlight switch and it didn't fix the problem, any other suggestions?

There is a fuse that is for the instrument panel and park lights. Is it just the tail lights or front park lights too?
just the tail lights and instrument panel lights are out. front park lights work

I would say you have a broken wire to the rear tail lights under the truck somewhere. Is the dimmer switch possibly turned all the way down for the dash lights?
check fuses under the hood as well as under the dash
