I have a 2000 ford f250 super duty with a 7.3

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was driving the trk and it shut off. It cranks and started up for ten seconds and died
now cranks and won't start.  Checked fuel bowl it is full. Changed cps and changed fuel
pump. Checked all fuses all are good. Trk cranks and still won't run.

7.3 diesel? Double check the CPS make sure it's all the way in. If you can get a black on you'll be much happier. Also try powerstrokediesel.com lots of smart people there

Oh and make sure that the "button" on the bottom of the fuel filter bowl is down in the right place.

Oh and check the cigarette lighter fuse. Especially if the wait to start light is NOT coming on. Thats also the fuse to your ECU.
