2003 cranks but wont start

it starts when useing starting fluid

It starts when you inject starter fluid into the throttle body because you are "by passing " the fuel pump, fuel filter and injectors. Check to see if you hear a whriling noise at the fuel tank with the cap off when you put the car into the start position, but not engaged. I you don't hear any sound, it could be your fuel pump, or a fuse, or wiring to the fuel pump. If you do hear a slight noise for about 2 seconds, then try banging the bottom of the fuel tank with a rubber mallet while someone else tries to start the engine. You could have a lot of sludge at the bottom of the tank.....
