Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If I have "rust" in the fuel line and it has gotten into the injector pump, can the pump be removed and cleaned or is replacement the only option?

check for vacuum to the fuel pressure regulator...check the output of the regulator...perhaps the diaphragm is torn...am of a mind that Chevron with Techron cleans alright....the Critical components such as the diaphragm~

no doubt you've replaced the fuel filter by now....there seems to be several incarnations of them~_____https://www.google.com/#q=2002+Ford+F- 350+fuel+filter&tbm=shop

if this were a Diesel there would be an injector pump, that I'd be able to find, but gasoline just uses the fuel pump...there may be two..one in the tank and one kielbasa on the bottom side~
