I have a 2004 F350 Dutchman Motor Home with the V-10. It is not pumping fuel to the rail. Does this model have an in tank fuel pump and a secondary outer fuel pump? It has a mid chassy 40 gallon tank.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Not getting fuel to rail at engine. Been sitting for 4+ years. Gas has been drained and new gas poured in. Fuel filter has been changed as well. It is a Dutchman motor home approx. 23' long with tank behind rear axle. In tank fuel pump? Additional secondary pump on rail? Thank you in advance for your advise. sr

process of ulimination disconnect fuel line at fuel filter on the outlet side, get a bucket and turn key on see if fuel is being delivered from the tank, take a rubber mallet and tap on the tank,if no fuel the pump may be siezed, listen for a whinning noise if so,the pump has a screen and that could be clogged.GOOD LUCK!
