loss key. need to replace ignition cylinder without a key

Call your local mercedes dealer ( have your VIN# handy ) and order a new key. They will most likely want to see the car to verify ownership and pyshical car itself. You can ask the part dept if they can send a parts delivery person to verify since you cant take the car there. To change the lock cyl without the key will require the key cyl to be drilled out and is i big chunk of work.
