my 2004 Ave won't go into over drive, help please?

After my car warms up, when I stop & start again, it will not go into over drive.

Maybe transmission fluid low. Are your rear lights out? And sometimes have trouble shifting out of park? If so replace brake light switch under neath the brake pedal. It remedy shifting problem. replace, thermostat, timing belt and spark plugs. All required after 70,000 miles.
