my 2003 Toyota Tacoma

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I push the button for my 4 wheel itvdoes not engage when I putbit in low u feel the
differences one time doesvthe transfer case switch have anything to do with it

you've got to shimmy under there, (PUT THE PARKing brake on first) have someone engage the 4WD and see what moves...there is a solenoid or servo that has to engage...in it's current location is subject to road debris...etc~ once you find it test the vacuum and replace the vacuum hoses with silicone ones and/or the continuity and source for the voltage (if applicable)~....somethin' has to move...if it ain't movin' we gotta find out why~
