My running lights and everything work but break lights don’t put new bulbs in today what could it be

Faulty ground connection at the break light bulb socket. Look in the socket and see if the female "tabs" are seeming to be bent out of shape, so they will not grip the male blub posts, if so that is likely the cause of your problem.Use fine grit 1000 or better) to clean the socket or a shot of contact cleaner. reach in with a small (jewelers type) screw driver and GENTLY bend the tabs back to contact the blub posts. Also look for any cracked or broken wires coming into the socket.
