1996 Toyota Tacoma Repair issue

Asked by tcg1970 Jun 01, 2012 at 03:52 PM about the 1996 Toyota Tacoma 2 Dr STD 4WD Extended Cab SB

Alternator went out, replaced with a new one. It has 3 dashlights on and a break light and seatbelt light
and oil light won't go off even if you take the key out of the switch. Checked all the grounds and fuses,
can't understand why the lights are on.
