2005 Chevy Malibu LS sensor problem??

Asked by Bkummerow Jan 02, 2021 at 12:56 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check engine light on and has been on since I
bought it. It has 218,000 miles on it. My problem is
when I fill my tank  it tell me my fuel range is low on
my radio but my gas Gage is fine on my dashboard.

Here’s a picture of my dashboard. Gas gauge is fine. I only filled it to half a tank this time and still my radio says fuel range low. I’ve replaced my alternator because I was having a lot of issues and my fuel range was normal for about a week and it went stupid again.
