VCS TRACK and Check Engine Light came on 2005 Toyota RAV-4

Both VCS TRACK and Check Engine warning lights came on while driving and
remain on while car is running. Any thoughts on cause other than brief
description in manual, and costs to repair?

When the CEL coms on, the computer disables the stability control and the cruise control. Have the car diagnosed to find the cause for the engine light. When fixed, the stability light will turn off.
