battery terminal not marked one is ground to the body is that the negative
terminal?

If the cable is bolted to the body it is the ground. I have never seen a battery that was not labeled. Look closer.

Look in the upper corners on top of the battery itself. The right side looks like it has a - for negative, the other side should have a +, though it is under the terminal.
