2003 Toyota Highlander

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a problem with my 2003 Toyota Highlander.  The car pulls and jerks when it's stationary.  Toyota tech stated that the motor mounts were bad, so I replaced 3 of the mounts.  However, the car still jerks and pulls.   What could be the problem?

If the vehicle is pulling and jerking, I would bring it in and have the front end completely gone over. Something has got to be severely out of line. You may have a seized brake piston that will cause it to jerk also. Next time you go for a spin, feel your front rims and see if one side appears to be much hotter than the other.
