Can I have a navigation system installed in my car, a 2005 Toyota Corolla that would be similar to--if not as extensive--as the ones now in cars like Prius?
When I ride with other people, especially in a Toyota Prius, I always think I'd like at least some of the features of the navigation system, like the cameras that show backing and so on. Is it possible to have some of them installed in my current car, or do I have to buy another car? Maybe it would be cheaper to buy, say, a later model Toyota that has all these navigation tools.
I don't know where you are located but here we have a place call car toys, they have in dash navigation units that take the place of your OE radio and still give you a fully operational stereo system, it is rather expensive but not as much as buying another car. Just my 2 cent worth.
You can get radios off Amazon that are the size of a standard 'double' radio, they have options like touch screen, nav, and backup cameras.
