Why are my dash lights and tail lights out?

Okay so I was installing a new car
stereo recently and I ran into some
trouble 1-my stereo was the wrong
type 2-my dash light and tail lights
fuse blew I had stray stripped wires
hanging there and I am sure on of
them touched the ground wire or
metal and caused a short....please
help me can that be the case?

I can only assume,you checked the park light fuse?

I checked my owners manual and it guided me to the blue 15 amp fuse I switched it and it blew again then I saw the wires hanging and I assumed it was because of them

First thing to do would be find where the wire went to,i think it may go to your fuse panel if it is close to it,

But first check the for fire,meaning power before you hook them to anything.

I found the issue loose wire was stuck on some metal go figure! Thank you for helping me out man!
