Curious why the mechanic did not grease this for you? Dr. ZERK the inventor of the small ball type grease fitting, wipe them off with a clean rag and use a grease gun no not the M1A3 WWII .45 Sub machine Gun but..a tube holding grease dispensing one do every fitting you can locate. Regards
