Assuming automatic, probably shifter linkage. If you are not familiar with mechanical work, take it to a transmission shop ..but don't let them talk you in to a rebuilt transmission without getting a second, and even third opinion first. It may well be something very simple

Why is my 94 Corolla not moving forward in any drive gear? It only goes backward in reverse. Has transmission fluid but it smells burnt.

My vehicle vibrates when on reverse gear..it vibrates when i stop of press break on idle positon..it doesnt vibrate when driving
