Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced tires and told rear axle bushings were torn. The tires show a forward
and backward motion. Recommended rear axle replacement. Wondering what a
ballpark cost would be.

Just replace the bushings, most places charge about 75 a bushing.

I don't have any idea what has to be done, i bought new tires and this was recomended by tire guys not mechanics, hence the question to those who would know more than me.
