99 Toyota Solara

So I was driving my car yesterday in the ran and was running the AC. While this was happening my car start driving rough, almost like it was shaking a little bit or maybe wasn't getting full power, then one of the belt started making a squeaking noise for a few seconds and then it stopped doing both the squeaking and the shaking and my AC button light started blinking.

So now my AC in the car doesn't work, every time I press the button the AC fans in the front of the car start but then they make the same rough noise and then stop and then the light starts blinking again.

Does anyone know what the problem is? Thank you.

You will have to check the belt is adjusted , then A/C compressor to check the clutch is engaging when you turn it on. If you had AC and it was blowing cold air or was it cool air indicating needs to be recharged.

AC is a specialty and spending a little bit to get the solution from a certified AC mechanic saves you time and money.

You could take it to Auto Zone to assist you in diagnosing the problem ( s) Without the vehicle here I can only advise. It's free at most all auto parts to assist customers, try to use what you know and the salesperson knows. Summer isn't far away and resolving all issues now will be less expensive
