Toyota Solara

Asked by Traveler25 Jan 02, 2019 at 08:01 PM about the 2006 Toyota Camry Solara SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Solara is 13 yrs old, never had a problem with
my car until now. Driving on the hwy in stop and go
traffic, all of a sudden all warning lights come on
for a sec and went off. Car keep going. Drove
home. A couple of weeks ago same thing
happened and this time engine light stayed on.
Had the car hooked up to the computer, everything
was fine, reset everything. Can someone please
explain what is going on. Paranoid to drive now in
traffic

If your "warning light" was the "check engine light", it should have set a code that would tell the problem during a scan. If nothing was found in a scan, I don't understand what was "reset" during the scan. Okay. Take a closer look what light dash light came on... oil pressure, over heating, alternator/battery, etcetera. It might not be the engine code light at all if no codes were found. I would keep driving it but first check your oil level, coolant level, watch your gauges.
