2002 camry speed sensor trans swap

I purchased one of the low mileage
engine/trans combo from one of the large
engine importers. I’m doing a full swap
because i threw a rod. Its a 2002 toyota
camry xle with the 2.4l engine 2AZ. I
wanted to swap the trans that came with
the import motor, however, the speed
sensor location ontop of the trans has a
block of plug, where as my original trans
has a 3 wire gear driven speed sensor. The
new trans does not have the gears in the
transaxle to drive the 3 wire speed sensor.
Should i be trying to track dow a magneto
style 2 wire speed sensor for the new trans
and make the adjustment to my harness or
is there another way to easily get a working
speed sensor in the new trans?.

This new engine trans swap. Did it come with the wiring harness for that unit? Seems to me...the comuter in your vehicle may be a different part number than the one controlling the replacement unit.. Your computer may not recognize a different design speed sensor.
