You might want to check the tranny fluid. Engine running in neutral. Pull the dipstick. Feel and smell the fluid on the end of the stick. Does it look dark brown? Does it smell bad/burnt? Put some fluid between your fingers. Does it feel sandy...or...slippery? Is the fluid at the proper level?
