99 Camry starter hitting flywheel

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I HAVE had the starter tested it is good. Battery
tested good also... click...that's all you hear. I have
even went as far as hot wiring the starter..  I Know
THIS for sure the starter is TRYING to engage but
is just HITTING the Flywheel. THATS THE CLICK IM
HEARING.but why isn't the starter engaging into
the flywheel teeth??? cant figure this much out.
Only assumption I can come up with is bent
flywheel?? but my car worked just fine the other
day when I last drove it and shut it off!??????   
PLEASE HELP ME

Have you tried a properly executed Jump Start with a known good battery?
