Alternator, battery, shortage,

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My alternator is good and perfect but my
battery just dont hold the charge still. When i
jump start battery and take the cables off it
just dies out .its no corrosion on the terminals
now that I bought new ones. My dad thinks
its a shortage in the car somewhere but i
dont know what to think? Help me
