Chey hhr you be going down the road and it acts like it's losing electrical power all the gages go down

This sounds like the alternator is bad. Should stop at a auto parts store and have the charging system checked to see if it is charging the battery. Battery also should be checked. If it has a short in it the charging system would not work properly.
