Smoke coming from left side of engine.

Asked by Brownk8 Oct 01, 2019 at 02:19 PM about the 2004 Subaru Outback Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 limited subaru outback and recently i
noticed smoke coming from the left side of the
engine as well as the left wheel house after driving
as well as a buring smell. My oil and coolant are
both full so I'm not really sure what's wrong.

1 Answer

Probably a leaking head gasket but maybe just a leaking cam cover gasket.
