My girlfriends car won't start!

Asked by Guru9WZYM Jun 13, 2017 at 08:46 AM about the 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Coupe FWD

The key was stuck in accessory mode, pressed the ignition switch got the key out, car doesn't seem to be cranking over? battery is fine, no dimming lights all the dash lights come on, the engine just will not turn over!! Would I have to play around with the shifter, does the car still think its in gear or something? Please help!!!

you could have a shifter issue. is this an automatic ? is a possible repair bulletin regarding this . would have to check the serial number.
