Oil leak

If my oil separator plate is faulty and
leaking will you be coming out from just
above the power steering rack?

that plate is hidden by the front diff housing, I believe on the passenger side, sort of below the access hole below the throttle body. So probably in the middle at the bottom of the diff. I would wipe down everything underneath and look at it after a drive, short/long idk depends on the leak. I think my 04 is leaking at the oil pump :/ but it's been that way for years. on my TDL

Good one, Walt. Note that front oil pump oil leak is usually a cracked o-ring; but if not, you could try a bottle of oil stop-leak to expand the original o-ring. Usually works....
