My 06 grand prix will not start

Asked by Gromano537 Apr 08, 2017 at 01:49 PM about the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There is power to everything. The starter is good and so is
the neutral safety switch. Fuses and relays as well. When try
to turn it over, it doesnt even click. Tried having the key in
the on prostitution and jumping it from the starter. Just
turned over didn't run. Any ideas out there?

I suspect that the key being on Prostitution (your spelling) is not helping ... you may have a bad ignition sw on the run contact .. ... with the key in the run position and not cranking ... do your accessories work (windows, radio etc)

Yes bad spelling sorry!! Having it on the on position and jumping the starter it will crank but won't run.
