i have a 2005 grand prix. its leaking anti freeze and my blower is just fine but the heat isnt warm. what could this be?

Loss of anti-freeze will cause the heater to not blow warm air. The heater core uses the hot coolant that comes from the engine, so if the coolant level is low, it can not pump hot fluid through the heater core. My 2006 Grand Prix was leaking anti-freeze from the heater hose fittings above the water pump on the passenger side of the engine. If yours is leaking from there, I would suggest replacing them with Aluminum ones (Dorman Part #47065HP). To do this, you must remove the alternator and tensioner pulley. Make sure to refill the coolant in the radiator and overflow tank, then bleed the air out of the system using the bleed screw on the top of the thermostat housing where the radiator hose comes out of the engine on the driver's side. Low coolant levels can also cause your engine to overheat and lead to other very expensive issues, so make sure you get it taken care of right away.
