Asked by Helpwantedneedadvise... Apr 29, 2016 at 10:07 PM about the 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix 4 Dr SE Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My bleeder valve is stripped so badly I can't
get it to budge. How can I remove air from
lines without access through bleeder valve?

Go to Eric the car guy, he has a video on how to bleed out the cooling system in Pontiac's.

Also doing what Bob said (except for the apple eating part) with the car parked facing up hill or the front wheels up on some blocks or a ramp will aid the bleeding process because as he pointed out air rises through water as long as it doesn't hit an obstruction and get trapped lower down in the engine.
