cylinder misfiring

Asked by James Mar 28, 2016 at 07:57 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hooked my car up to an electronic reader and it
said 6 cylinder misfire.  I change the spark plugs
out and the ignition coil. I don't know what to do.
Someone told me I might need an egr valve. I
checked under the oil cap and it's milky tan
substance. Water is getting in somehow. I also
can't find a leak but I'm loosing coolant/Water.
Any answers please
