My 2003 grand am pontiac has idol high problem

Start car and idol goes up very high

If you have a plug that plugs into intake then its controlled by ECM which will have to be turned down by dealer. If a plug is unplugged or vacuum leak it could cause that. Otherwise from that if manual..manually turn down!

Possibly dirty/faulty idle air control valve, vacuum leak or stuck open pcv valve.
