I have a 2002 grand am gt 3.4 car has a bad miss driveing changed plugs wire and fule filter and didnt help had dealer run fule system cleaner didnt help no service eng light any ideas

If these things didn't help, you're going to need to look for mechanical causes for this problem. Have a compression check done on all cylinders. Have the cooling system pressurized to check for leaks -- you may have a blown head gasket or intake manifold gasket. Check the timing belt to see if it has jumped a tooth.

I have had the intake gaskets replaced.. think might be coil going bad you dont ever feel it with the cruise on just when you push it a little to go up a hill or to speed up as soon as it down shifts it gose away. not useing any fluid or anything..

Well i took it to the gm dealer had them look at it they had it for 2 days couldnt find anything wrong with it thought it was the trasmision... the battery kept going dead while hooking the computer up to it and they replaced that i got the car back and it hasnt done it yet after a week most of been the battery cus thats all that was replaced

I had a similar problem with my 99 grand am it is the v6 it was running really rough like a dead cylinder or miss in the timing it ended up being the balancer was bad, it had got out of alingment and spun and was throwing the whole engine timing off
