has any of the wiring been messed with ? does it all look original , alt and batt installed together ?

you do mean brand new correct.....not brand new used...lol...sounds like a wiring issue at the alternator...

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT with the Ram Air. It is a 3.4 V6 and I'm having a lot of Electrical and Overheating issues. Any ideas? I don't have much money for a mechanic. 2 Answers

It ran fine until I changed the coolant in the radiator.

I have a pontiac grand am 2005 and had the ignition replaced. It started for a while then it quit starting. It wont even turn over. The battery and alternator are good. What can it be. 1 Answer

I had the ignition replaced and the sensor monitor checked out fine. The battery and alternator are good. The car wont even turn over when I try to start it.. Got a jump and it didn't work.
