Can't be compatible the transmission?

Electronically incompatible. You need a numbers matching engine.

The question of pairing engines with different years and different cars has been asked and answered a million times..... Why do we still get these stupid questions, when all anyone has to do is read what's already there. It would save everyone an enormous amount of time.
