i have a 2001 my engine blew and im tryin to see if i can put a newer engine in it

newer aint always better,with todays engine managing systems it can be a nightmare,unless your well briefed on the process,though amusing and youll learn a lot id say go for it

2004..... 3.4L all the same wiring may be different but double check before installation

You should be able to use the 2005 3400 V6. If you find a GT donor car, you could swap the transmission too. It has a lower ratio final drive (higher number) for better performance.
