How to fix a montero sports thah has a white smoke coming out of pipe?

White smoke typically indicates blown head gasket. Head will have to be removed and gaskets replaced.

I couldn't of said it better myself dandyoun,, I will add that you can get and do a simple block tester from advance auto that will tell you if you have a bad head gasket,, all it is is a chemical that you put in this tube and then put it over the radiator and the fumes from the radiator will turn the chemical a certain color if you have a bad head gasket
