2002 Montero Sports have a transmission problem. Sometimes it just don't run while the engine is on. Do you time to replace the transmission?

Montero Sport 2002 just stop running even if the engine is on. Are there any minor parts in
the transmission that needs to be replaced or I replace the whole transmission? It is
expensive to have it repaired.

not sure i get what you mean by the transmission stops running even with the engine on, can you give a more detailed example of what happens please,, do you mean its like it goes into neutral ?
