Car wont start

Asked by Tyler Dec 26, 2015 at 12:28 AM about the 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT Spyder

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Turn the key, I get power to the radio and lights but
go to turn the car over, no sounds, power to the
radio goes out. Tried jumping the battery did the
same thing. Im thinking alternator but idk, ideas?

Went back to the car last night, tried to start it up and started up with no problem. Bad wiring? Or is the starter just going bad and needs to be replaced?

Turned out to be bad battery. The battery wasn't holding a charge, replaced, starts just fine now.
