My eclipse spyder gt ran hot and jumped time in the process. Do I need a new motor or is it fixable without overhauling?

If it jumped time then you probably bent some valves. And if you did bend valves then you are going to have to remove the heads. So you can get new heads or have yours serviced at a machine shop.
