Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT the retractable antenna will not retract. The motor that works the antenna motion seems to be working fine,  as I have opened the trunk and watched the motor work, but the antenna stays in the up position. Would anyone know what part I would need to fix it?

One of mine was staying up. I took some wd 40 sprayed on a rag and wiped the antenna down with it. I then give it a little push down and it has worked ever since. Now mine was a collapsible antenna and not a solid shaft one.
