Idle way to high

My 2003 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo it idles at
around 1300 rpm what could be the problem

I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee.today as I was driving my throttle became stuck and car accelerated on its own.i hit the breaks but it wanted to keep going.as I put it in park the motor reved up high so I shut it off.any thing you can think of to cause this?

I have a 2000 Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo with a 4. 0 I put in a new head gasket put everything back together and now it idles over way over to high almost in the red line what can be the problem and how can I fix it

Did you ever figure it out because I’m having same issue it will idle at close to 5000 rpm
