Weird noise

When I turn my jeep on and leave it
running it starts making a clicking/popping
sound in the rear left side(drivers side)

Check if your jeep has a check engine light... Only thing on that side from 1999-2004 in the rear is the coal canister for evap .. It's right behind the rear bumper on drivers side... Check if that's where the noise is ... Then replace if so

Yea it does have the check engine light on and yes it might be that that's where the noise is coming from Thanks for the help
