Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump on
my jeep because it would run awhile then die. If
you leave it sit for a bit, it will restart and run a bit,
then dies again

Ed is correct. Take it somewhere like an auto parts store and have it scanned for codes. I almost want to guess it is the Crankshaft Position Sensor, code P0320, which is a common fault on this Jeep engine, cutting off the ignition spark. You can scan it yourself by turning the key from Off to On quickly three times without starting the engine. Stop at "On". The codes will display at the odometer. It will then display "done" when it's done, or if there are No stored codes it will display "done". Google your codes numbers to see what's going on. Tell us what you find.
