Tires and lift

Asked by Kayceb May 18, 2016 at 09:21 AM about the 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2001 jeep grand cherokee 4WD that
is stock. I want to put 255-75-17 tires on but
I need a lift. Will a 2 inch lift give me enough
clearance so there is no running?

Yes, do you currently have 17" wheels? If not consider a spacer as well as a lift

No mine are 16 but have rims and tires that are 17 that I want to put on my jeep

Good, ensure that you have correct back spacing (+25 or +35), that will help you determine what spacer to use with your wheel to prevent rubbing when you turn the wheel.

I am doing the same it only rubs when going slow or on a Slant or moving slow but only rubs on the bumper would a 2" life work

I have 2018 grand cherokee with 265/50R20 I'm add nerf bars &2 inch lift +single sealed box 10 inch sub- everything else I'm keeping stock !!!
